Welcome! This is the place for everything about keeping your BYD charged: home chargers, tariffs, public networks, charging speeds, and plug-in hybrid (DM-i) charging habits.

To get the conversation going, it would help to hear from owners:

Which BYD do you drive, and is it fully electric or a DM-i plug-in hybrid?
How do you charge at home? A wallbox, a granny cable on a normal socket, or not at all yet?
Which tariff or app do you use to charge off-peak, if any?
Which public networks have worked well (or badly) for you, and where?
Anything that surprised you once you started charging day to day?

A few ground rules so threads stay useful:

Please say which model and year you have, because charging behaviour differs between cars.
If you are having a wallbox installed, have it fitted by a qualified electrician. Please don't take electrical advice from a forum as a substitute for that.
Charging figures from the owner's manual are welcome. Please say where a number came from, whether it is the manual or what you saw on your own car.

This post is from the forum team and not from an owner, so we are here to start the topic, not to answer from experience. Over to you.
